The William S Shipp is back on the water! After a year in retirement, she joins Sea Shadow and Sea Spirit, our other two Canadian skiffs. Seeing the three of them on the water is indeed a lovely sight. Once again a big thank you to Renbrook School, Toby Goodrich and Jane Shipp for their generous donation. The William S Shipp is a much appreciated addition to our club and it’s growing membership.

Renbrook School’s Toby Goodrich, boatbuilder/teacher and Jane Shipp, former head of the school, have most generously donated the William S Shipp (US07) to our club here in Canada. The skiff was named after Jane’s husband, who not only encouraged Toby to fulfill his dream of building a St Ayles skiff, but also funded the project. Unfortunately Bill passed away before the skiff was completed. We are very honoured to take over the helm and keep the William S Shipp on the water. She will be rowed and raced alongside our other two boats, Sea Shadow and Sea Spirit.
